Zhang Yunyong, member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and general manager of China Unicom's product center, said recently that during the "fourteenth five year plan" period, the large-scale deployment of 5g network will be accelerated, and there is no problem for 5g penetration rate to reach 56%. Zhang Yunyong revealed that last year, telecom operators built more than 700000 5g base stations, covering the main urban areas of more than 300 cities in China. This year, operators are expected to build 700000 5g base stations, covering counties and even villages. "The actual 5g penetration rate is expected to be higher in 2025."

Under this background, the 3rd Connected Aircraft China Congress will be held on June 3rd – 4th , 2021 in Haikou, China, the congress was hosted by Civil Aircraft Operation Support Technology Sub-committee of CSAA and Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, supported by COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Design And Research Institute, organized by COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co., Ltd.
