Connected Aircraft China Congress Preparatory Work Meeting Held at COMAC

On December 12^th, 2019, the Civil Aviation Connectivity Intelligent Technology Exchange Meeting and Connected Aircraft China Congress Preparatory Work Meeting Held at COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co., Ltd. The meeting was chaired by WU Bo, Director of Science and Technology Committee Office, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co., Ltd. Delegates are the representatives from Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co., Ltd., China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd., China Eastern Airlines E-Commerce Co., Ltd., Honeywell, Aviage Systems, Panasonic Avionics, China Satellite Communications Co., Ltd. Etc, which covers from upstream to downstream of aircraft connectivity industry chain units.

Director WU Bo said that the Connected Aircraft China Congress aims to build a platform for mutual exchanges and promote cooperation through sharing domestic and foreign technique. During the meeting, participants discussed the input, output, and application of data, the definition of data security and data access permissions, and high-bandwidth information interoperability for connectivity needs of Airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and satellite operators. All delegates spoke freely and put forward industry development suggestions, supplemented and improved the topics, played a positive role in the development of intelligent connectivity technology and the later support of the Connected Aircraft China Congress. According to the plan, 2^nd Connected Aircraft China Congress will be held in Shanghai from April 22^nd to 23^rd, 2020.

After the meeting, XIN Xudong, Deputy General Manager of COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co., Ltd., warmly welcomed the participants, expressed affirmation of the effectiveness of the exchange meeting, and put forward further requirements for the follow-up congress preparations. Afterwards, the participants went to the relevant departments for inspection.
