UNIS seized significant opportunities in China Aerospace Propulsion Technology Summit 2014

Dec 22,2016

The UNIS company participated in the international conference ¡°China Aerospace Propulsion Technology Summit 2014¡± in Chendgu, China from 26th -30th May 2014.

In the subsequent discussion (B2B) with the world famous companies GE, SAFRAN and China¡¯s AVIC, we demonstrated our wide knowledge in the fields of analysis methodology, mathematical simulation of avionics components and their testing for aerial applications. As a result, UNIS was delegated the position of guest of honour of the summit by representatives of the city of Chengdu and so we participated in a panel discussion for airline companies from the SICHUAN area alongside the world¡¯s major aviation companies.

The opportunity to meet representatives of the company CIAM from Moscow was particularly significant. CIAM will be responsible for testing our FADEC for the ARMAK certification process in January 2015. We are developing the FADEC (Full authority digital engine control) jointly with the Ukrainian company Ivchenko Progress.

We accepted an invitation to the city of Mianyang from its Deputy Mayor Xie Xiao Dong. This city is the birthplace of avionics in western China¡¯s SICHUAN province. We discussed mathematical modeling of avionics components, control support for UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle) and the possible applications of vibration sensors.

In conclusion, our impression of China was of a country with a very promising and rapidly developing aviation market. We saw many interesting things, heard about intriguing topics, met many interesting people, and had fruitful discussions. We also successfully promoted the idea of further meetings in cooperation with the Czech Trade agency, with whom we have planned specialist consultations with Chinese companies in the fields of aerospace and aviation.
