Xinhua News Agency, Shanghai, November 29 (Reporter Jia Yuankun) Civil Aviation East China Regional Administration issued a production license for the domestically produced large aircraft C919 to COMAC on the 29th.
This indicates that my country has the ability to mass-produce large passenger aircraft, and provides conditions for stimulating the development of the entire industrial chain of the civil aviation manufacturing industry.
The production license review team for C919 aircraft was established by the East China Regional Administration of Civil Aviation, with a total of 15 people.
The inspection team carried out quality inspections in accordance with the airworthiness regulations "Civil Aviation Products and Parts Qualification Certification Regulations" (CCAR-21-R4) and the airworthiness management procedures "Production Approval and Supervision Procedures" (AP-21-AA-2019-31) System documentation review and on-site review.
The evidence collection and approval work lasted 3 years and 8 months.
During the certification process, experience in quality control of civil aircraft products has been accumulated, providing best practice references for the improvement of airworthiness regulations and procedures.
The first C919 aircraft is expected to be delivered to China Eastern Airlines Group Co., Ltd. in December this year.

The C919 aircraft is a 150-seat domestic large passenger aircraft designed, developed and produced by COMAC. It is also the second domestic jet airliner that has obtained a production license from the Civil Aviation Administration of China after the ARJ21-700 aircraft of COMAC. Its final assembly production base is located in Shanghai. Pudong Zhuqiao.
