China's Self-developed Amphibious Aircraft! AG600 Kunlong 1003 Aircraft Is off The Shelf in The Final Assembly

The sky is Kunpeng, and the sea is the dragon. On December 26, according to the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, today, the large-scale firefighting/water rescue amphibious aircraft AG600 “Kunlong” 1003, independently developed by the aviation industry, was finally assembled in Zhuhai. It marked the official completion of the installation of the airframe structure and airborne system of the aircraft, and it has entered the stage of ground joint debugging and testing, and the development of the project has made another major progress. According to reports, the 1003 AG600 aircraft officially entered the final assembly stage from June 24. It took 186 days to complete three-section docking, wing-body docking, vertical tail fuselage docking, engine nacelle installation, and propeller installation. The final assembly work and the air tightness test of the pressurized cabin, the power environmental control system, the pressure test of the hydraulic system, and the conduction of the avionics system of the whole aircraft, etc., have successfully completed the final assembly of the aircraft in accordance with the planned nodes. It is reported that the “Kunlong” AG600 is a large amphibious aircraft that meets the urgent needs of forest fire fighting and water rescue. A self-developed large-scale special purpose civil aircraft is a major aviation equipment urgently needed for the construction of the national emergency rescue system.
