According to the forecasts, 3,900 to 4,400 civilian-use helicopters will be delivered from 2017 to 2021.When considering a new purchase, operators’ results mirrored those from last year, with make and model choices for their new aircraft most strongly influenced by range, cabin size, performance, technology upgrades and brand experience.

At the end of 2016, there were 3924 helicopters for civilian use in APAC, thanks to the ‘One Belt And One Road’ & ‘13^th Five-Year Plan’, China added 85 helicopters in 2016, achieving 21% market growth. China is still the region's strongest growth in the past few years.
