Aviation Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) Technical Forum

With the rapid development of aviation industry, the degree of integration, complexity and intelligence of aircraft has increased dramatically, and the traditional fault diagnosis, maintenance and guarantee technology is gradually difficult to adapt to the new requirements, and people are paying more and more attention to the reliability of aircraft, flight safety and maintenance guarantee. Aviation Prognostics and Health Management is a comprehensive and integrated system for fault prediction and health management of aerospace system-level and aircraft-level products based on advanced sensing systems, intelligent analysis of big data, and the combination of expert experience.


PHM Branch of Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (PHM Branch) is the top academic organization in the field of aviation PHM in China, bringing together major universities, research institutes, host plants and military and civilian users engaged in the research and application of PHM in China. The realization of PHM technology relies on the collaborative work of sensors, data acquisition, data processing, fault diagnosis, health assessment and other links, and is a comprehensive technology involving multiple disciplines. This technology has great significance and application prospect in the whole life cycle of aviation equipment design, manufacture, test and service, which can realize the whole life cycle management of the equipment, improve the safety, reliability and maintainability of the equipment, and at the same time reduce the maintenance cost and environmental pollution, which has a broad application prospect.
