China Aerospace Industry

The demand of civil aircraft will sharply increase in next two decades, especially in China market. It is estimated that about 4960 new aircraft will be put into use in China in 2031, including 3405 single-aisle aircraft, 868 dual-aisle jet and 687 turbofan regional aircraft. The total worth of these aircraft will be over 563 billion dollars. China large aircraft C919 will realize its first flight in 2014. The demand of China market will reach 600 C919 aircrafts in next decade and 3000 C919 aircrafts in 20 years, and finally the annual production will reach 150 C919 aircrafts. Meanwhile, regional aircraft and general aviation aircraft will form a mature aviation market.
